Meet our founder:

Nicole Crump is a Kansas City native and advocate who understands firsthand the challenges of caring for a child with complex medical needs. Inspired by her daughter’s rare genetic syndrome and the gaps she’s encountered in caregiving support, she created RESTkc in February 2025 to offer the kind of practical help and meaningful rest she wished had existed for her own family along their journey. With a background in nonprofit leadership and a deep commitment to community care, she’s working to re-imagine support for families of children with chronic conditions—making space for renewal, empowerment, support, and time.
